Matri Puja, 10th Feb, 2016



10TH February, 2016 (Matri Puja)
The most anticipated, most eagerly awaited Matri Puja for the Students of Cl-X was observed on 10thof Feb, 2016. 71 students came to attend the puja with their mothers. The principal of the Vidyalaya welcomed the guardians and the guests from APT.
Shri Krishna Kumar, Cluster in charge, VKVAPT conducted the puja bridhi successfully. Shri P.M. Unnikrishnan ,education officer emphasised the importance of the Puja to uphold values like Matri Devo Bhava, Pitri Devo Bahvo, Rashtradevo Bhava values by the students at crucial times of their lives.
The purpose of the Puja was to infuse the importance and role of the importance  of mothers in their life and pay due respect to her in the family at all points of life.

"Report for Varsarambha"

Bhakats offering ‘Naam’
A ‘Namkirtan’ was organized to mark the  Varsharamba Ceremony on 4th April , 2014 VKV Dibrugarh  in the presence of students, teaching and nonteaching staff.

Fifteen (15) Bhakats religiously prayed and five-hundred(500) students with high spirit attended the ceremony. In this auspicious occasion all of them present together prayed to the Almighty for development and prosperity  of the school . Kacha prasad and  Dahi-Cheera was distributed among all.

UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD DAY (ORGANIZED BY VKV DIBRUGARH)

Universal Brotherhood Day (11th September, 2013)
In the evening, to mark the significance of the day, VKV Dibrugarh organised a play in Assamese entitle “ Yuva Sanyasi”, Satriya Dance, Bharat Natyam Dance, Bishnu Rava Dance staged by the students of our Vidyalaya. The programmed was held in the District Library Auditorium, Dibrugarh from 7 : 00 pm. The auditorium was full packed with teachers, audience and well – wishers.

Childrens Day (14th November, 2013)

Childrens Day was observed in the Vidyalaya with the help of  teachers for the students. There were dance performances, table recital, guiter recital by the students from class KG to Class X. The observation was very enthusiastic and well planned.

Independence Day ( 15th August, 2013) :




August 15, the 67thAnniversary was celebrated with great enthusiasm in our school. At 7:30 am, we all assembled in the school field and the flag was hoisted by our honourable Principal Ravindranath D Savdeykar, followed by National Anthem and Principal’s inspiring speech. Patriotic Song ” Rastra Bhakti Prerna Ka Gaan Vandemataram” was sung by our students. Then, the March Past  and thundering “ Band Display” (by our students) followed the programme. A large gathering of parents was there on the occasion. All teaching and non– teaching staff members were present. Prasad was distributed to everybody present.
