REPORT OF JANMASTHAMI

On 30th August 2021, Janmasthami was observed by the primary classes of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Dibrugarh. Photoshoot competition was organized for classes Nursery to Class II. Students were dressed up as mythological character of Mahabharata. A virtual fancy dress competition was organized for class III to V in which participants enacted as different characters of Ramayana and Mahabharata in well-dressed costumes. A total of 135 students took part in the competitions. The characters in which they were dressed are– Krishna, Radha, Pitamaha Bhishma, Arjuna, Dronacharya, Balrama, Sudama, Shakuni, Shaka, Sakhi, Draupadi, Shabri, Hanuman, Bhīma, Narada, Gandhari and Sita. petitions. They were beautifully dressed with full of enthusiasm. It was really a wonderful show.
