KALPATARU DIWAS 2021

Students and teachers gathered for the school assembly to observe Kalpataru Diwas. Principal sir spoke on the significance of the day.

Devotees and followers of the Ramakrishna Mission believe that, whatever is prayed for on this day will be bestowed upon.

Our vidyalaya too celebrates Kalpataru Diwas on 1st of January every year and a mass prayer is conducted in the morning assembly.

One of the teachers shared a story of a social worker, Birubala Rabha who worked towards the upliftment of the women of Assam and Meghalaya. The activist has been campaigning against witchcraft and witch-hunting in her home state Assam, fighting for the cause for more than 15 years now by appearing at public forums. She was honoured with the Padma Shri award on 25th January, 2021.

After the assembly students played games and were engaged in subject related activities. Teachers performed Bharat Mata Aarti and offered floral tribute to Sri Ramkrishna Paramhansa.
