VKV DIBRUGARH

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Dibrugarh had its humble beginning in the year 1981, with two rented rooms at Khaliamari - Dibrugarh. There were nine VKVians with two teaching staff and Sri K. K. Narayanan as the founder Principal.

When the construction of the school building commenced, the premise of the Vidyalaya was temporarily shifted to an abandoned garage complex in Boiragimoth, Convoy Road, Dibrugarh.

In the year 1984 VKV - Dibrugarh continued functioning at Khaliamari. The number of students increased every year and construction work continued simultaneously to keep up with the burgeoning members and activities.

Finally, the school shifted to its permanent location at Vivekananda Path, East Chowkidinghee, Dibrugarh in the year 1985.

The school was upgraded to Senior Secondary Level in the year 2001.
