Netaji Jayanti
On the occasion of the 124thBirth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, to look back on his life and all that he accomplished as one of the most celebrated young freedom fighters. The great day was observed in VKV Dibrugarh on 23rd January, 2021 with a brief programme in morning assembly. A speech on the significance of the day by our student Kr. Jyotiraditya Upadhyaya of Class VIII and it continued with a patriotic song “Kadam Kadam Badhaye Ja” sung by all the students and teachers with an action song by the students of classes I to III. Smt. Deepika Paik, teacher, VKV Dibrugarh, spoke on the significance of the day. She narrated a small incident from Netaji’s life that he was blessed son of our motherland who was greatly influenced by Swami Vivekananda’s teachings.
